This is a watershed for the Democrats. Social Security is THE Democratic legacy of the 20th century. Remember the old man on the stoop. He is why the Democrats made Social Security and why the Republicans have been trying to destroy it for 50 years. If they run from defending it, or even if they dont run but fail to defend it they should disappear. There is no need for a Democratic party that cannot defend social security. They will not get another dime from me until they show that they will fight and win on this. I'm tired of excuses from these losers. Suck it up and do what it takes to win, or go away.
